Established in 1984, the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum is an all-volunteer, 501 c-3 organization which operates train rides from Adams, MA. We also own and operate  and a museum complex based at the former New Haven Railroad depot in Lenox, MA. There are many seasonal and year-round positions where your unique interests and talents could be of service to the thousands of visitors we entertain each year, including:

 

STATION AGENT & GIFT SHOP ATTENDANT
Welcome our customers, be our ambassador to the public, and conduct ticket and gift sales via our computer-based system.

 

CREW ON THE TRAIN

Start out as Coach Attendant or Car Host and, through training & evaluation, advance to jobs such as Conductor or Engineer. Those with prior rail experience are evaluated and brought in at an appropriate level.

 

HELP TELL OUR STORY
Newsletter production and/or support of our website updates, marketing, photography, video production or social media efforts.

 

DEVELOP NEW EVENTS

Assist in the creation of and/or staffing for new and exciting museum and train ride events.

 

KEEP HISTORY ROLLING

Restore and maintain our historic locomotives, coaches, and other rolling stock.

 

PRESERVATION EFFORTS

Help manage and curate our collection of artifacts; prepare selected items for public display.
