Saturdays ONLY ~ Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Museum will be open to the public 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.**

  • Restored 1903 New Haven Depot on the National Register of Historic Places

  • Yard Jitney, short train rides

  • First & Second generation diesel locomotives on display

  • New Haven RDC #42 “Firestone” under restoration

Lenox Station Museum is located at 10 Willow Creek Road Lenox, MA 01240

The Lenox Station museum and grounds will be open on Saturdays only. Come for a personal tour with one of our volunteer experts to learn of our restored train station, featuring exhibits and displays of historic railroad equipment. Enjoy a short "Lenox Jitney" train ride from one end of our museum grounds to another, and inquire about riding in the cab of the locomotive! Donations appreciated.

Lenox Jitney

Visitors to Lenox Station can board the "jitney", a short train ride from the station to our train yard. For a small fee visitors can also ride in the cab of the locomotive.
